St. Ferdinand is proud to be a leader in technology in the Catholic Schools in Chicago. All academic programs are reinforced with the use of technology. Teachers integrate technology into the classrooms to help prepare students for an ever-changing and advanced world. I Pads, smart boards, digital imaging cameras, virtual field trips and labs, and our Grammar of Internet classes, serve to teach students to navigate in the digital age. By using Ed-Modo we have created a way for our students to complete assignments and correspond with classmates and teachers about material being studied. Ed-Modo allows for communication between teacher and parents. Our entire building is wired for the Internet which allows us to use tablets and laptops in the classrooms. We also recently obtained educational license for Microsoft Office which will give us the latest and the best that Microsoft has to offer whenever software is released.
