Happy Feast Day, Brother James

Happy Feast Day to Brother James! October 4th was the Feast of Saint Francis …. and our Brother James is a Franciscan Brother. Brother James celebrated by preaching about St. Francis during School Mass. 1st grade shared in the celebration with him by making paper animals that they took to Church and presented in honor of St. Francis and his great love for all creatures.  Let us take a moment to thank Brother for his many years of Religious life, and say a prayer of thanksgiving for him!

September Angels of the Month

Check out our “Angels of the Month” for September!

Each month, students focus on a particular character trait. Teachers nominate the students at the end of the month who most exemplified that trait.

During September, students focused on the quality of “Friendship,” and practiced being good friends to each other, as well as making new friends. Our “Angels of the Month” are the students that went the extra mile to show that they were good friends each day, whether it was by lending a helping hand, giving an encouraging word, or just being there for each other.

Let us not forget the importance of a smile, a kind word, or just being there for each other.

Coming up for October …. “Honesty”
